To follow up on the release of the 955 ft Roz Bell – “about.love” Music Video i wanted to share a little history both on myself & my career so far and on how this video came about.
Rewind to 2010 when I started releasing free projects on the net, A few high school students from Bridgeport, Connecticut stumbled onto my projects and since then they’ve been avid supporters of every project I do (shout out to Jose Cleaver, John Kovalsky, Jordan Mendez & Co.). In 2010, I had my most EPIC YEAR in which I was fortunate enough to sign with Grammy Winning Engineer Neal Pogue’s Production Company Fulton Yard, get my first placement (MIA ft Jay Z – XXXO Remix), a full feature on MTVUK.com, over 10k views on La Roux – “Bulletproof” Remix Video, over 150k+ views on my BET GOOD MUSIC Cypher remix Video (before BET had my video removed from Youtube), thousands of downloads on my VV Brown – “Crying Blood Remix” (including a shout out from Capitol Records on their social media sites), BITs Beat Tape & several of my projects were featured on some major blogs.
In 2011, I had a few of what I considered grandiose ideas for EPs & even reached out to some dope artists/producers I met over the years about doing joint EPs produced or coproduced by myself. Some of the highlights included Pieces; The Soundtrack to the Short Story a collaborative love ep which would feature songs I produced using verses from artists across the world it would include EPIC physical art work from digital illustrators I commissioned and poetry for for each song including a deluxe package that would include a vinyl, a book & the paintings. The concept was to write an instrumental using inspiration from one of the 7 colors that corresponded to an emotion of love then send 3-4 different artists the same track & splice together the best verses/hooks of each of those artists to create a supersong. Needless to say 3 months in the year I found this to be a logistical nightmare trying to get artists to return verses, artists backing out or sending verses that just weren’t good. I wasted more money on illustrators & time following up with than splicing so in April 2011, I decided to dead this project. Next came “Pieces” which would just be a straight forward EP featuring various genres & again same issues. Ultimately I deaden that project and shifted my focus to writing music to submit to labels for various artists projects and on the side working on songs with various indie artist.
But I digress, the gang from CT all graduated High School & throughout this process kept supporting my projects through radio spins on college radio & when I talked about the Johnny Cant Program eP they jumped at the idea to help. The “about.love” Music Video is just that its directed, starred, edited, filmed, written by John Kovalsky & the whole gang & its a masterpiece. Anyone who’s ever failed at love can definitely relate to this video.
So now that you know my story as well as the story of this video, I encourage & implore you to share it with any and everyone you know. I have a session to get to so ill stop here but I hope you enjoyed this semi-rant. ![]()

FYI; for anyone out there who purchased the MPK61 & was looking to do the Www.mpcstuff.com Pad Upgrade like i did heres a tip I couldn’t find ANYWHERE on the net.
1. You have to remove all the large screws even the 4 bracketed ones in the middle.
2. Once you open the unit there is a white cable blocking the pads. Slide it out from the area its attached to then when you unscrew it & insert the pads. You will have to remove the board that cable slides into in order to easily slide it back in then you can screw it back together.
I am no expert on the matter so take my advice with a grain of salt and proceed at your own risk. That install is not for the faint of heart.
